Overlooking a small canal, in a typical venetian frame, Hotel Ca' dei Conti is a patrician palace located just a few minutes walk from St Mark's Square. On the left the bridge and on right the "quadrifora" with "rio" view in front of "fondamenta del Remedio". The building has been recently, completely renovated inside and outside, preserving its original architecture. Owned by the famous and appreciated family of Sherimann till the end of 19th Century, this patrician palace was transformed by the Count Giovan Battista Sherimann during '800 in a shelter for homeless and poor orphan children. The building, disposed in 3 levels (ground floor, 1st and 2nd floor) has been recently completely renovated inside and outside, preserving its original architecture, with two magnificent halls, a terrace available in Spring and Summer, and an exclusive entrance, adorned by a well and two original Greek columns well dating back to the 13th Century.
