Villa Castiglioni is new only for his last destination as hotel, it is particularly suited for high level meetings and conventions. The Villa was built in the first years of the nineteenth century and the old style of lombardy house could be noted still now walking down the arcade, in the big halls with the frescoes vaults and down the tiled roofs. If any "violence" was made to the originary neo-classical constructions is for the careful choice pursued by the persevering owners of Milan. The faithfull restoration of the frescoes, the ceilings, the polychrome mosaics floor, the parquet designs, was the result to save at any cost the past imprint. The choice of the forniture was inspired by the same philosophy and every room and every corner of the Villa testify that Villa Castiglioni returned to the past times all furnished with a taste of the Empire. There is nothing "standard" in the thirty five precious rooms marked sometimes with old trusses and ornament stucco-works, baldachin-beds, marbles or fireplaces. It is not a cold number that distinguish them but the name of the Villa park flowers.<br>
