The hotel Silken Puerta Valencia was founded in 2004 and is situated in a very modern area of Valencia city, next to the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, the fair centre, the Palacio de congresos and the historic city centre. Actually, the hotel takes part of all the transformations and modernization progress that have taken place in the last years in Valencia. So, the hotel architecture and interiorism decoration have a modern style that will make guests feel comfortable.The hotel is situated close to the prestigious Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, a really futurist quarter integrated in an urban park of 350.000 m2 and located in the old Túria river. This city have four great vanguardist and creative buildings: L'hemisfèric, the Principe Felipe Science Museum, the Oceanográfico park and the Arts Palace. It's really worth visiting these installations because they offer exhibitions, laser shows and interactive museums.The 157 hotel rooms offer a modern equipment that satisfies guests needs. The detailed design takes care of the comfort, and the decoration was made by the famous designer Javier Mariscal.
