Villa Caterina is the ideal accommodation for guests seeking privacy, tranquillity and peacefulness. The Villa was created in the first half of the last century as a lodging house on the initiative of Domenica and Mario Cacopardo. Now the lodging house has been converted into the family run board and lodging inn Villa Caterina, by the grandson Mario Cacopardo and his wife Maria. They maintain the family tradition endowing the hotel with that unique style made of affability, friendliness and cordiality, which is typically retraced in the classic hoteliers of Taormina. The villa stands in the fabulous inlet of Mazzaro' bay with its picturesque beach and clear sea only a few metres away, easily reachable by means of a private pathway. The building has been completely refurbished and it is situated just 100 metres away from the cable car station which leads up to Taormina's centre. A small parking area is also available for hotel guests. The luxuriant garden surrounding the villa is characteristic of the Mediterranean vegetation offering the guests a serene holiday, rapt in the sweet sounds and scents of Nature. The villa offers eleven comfortable double and triple guest rooms, which share the view of a lovely Mediterranean garden with citrus and olive trees, roses, geraniums, and bougainvillaea.<br>
