The hotel is situated in the historic centre of Siena, approximately 300 metres from the Duomo and Piazza del Campo, in a quiet area with a wonderful panorama easily reached by way of the city gate, Porta S. Marco. There is ample private parking space (also for coaches) and garage accomodation; which enables clients to leave their car behind and explore the city on foot. The restaurant in the hotel Athena is well worth mentioning. Reserved solely for our client's use it seats up to 120 people. The chef offers a knowledgable menù consisting of the best recipes of the typical local cuisine. It is also possible to try international dishes. Next to the inside bar of the Hotel Athena there is a large terrace with wonderful views where guest can take advantage of the bar service whilst enjoying the countryside around and below them characterised by the ancient city walls of Siena and its backdrop of soft green hills.
