The Casanova Hotel Residence is situated in San Quirico d'Orcia, old, medieval village, crossed by the old "Via Francigena", which from Gennany, through France, went all the way down to Rome. Carefully respecting the delicate balance between nature and art in its use of local stone and tiles, the architecture of the Casanova is that of a typical Tuscan villa, a perfect setting within the valley, the beautiful panoramic position in the middle of the Natural Artistic Park of the Orcia Valley, which makes an exclusive place where you can stay in the heaven of the Tuscany Hills of the south of Siena. The Hotel Residence Casanova has 70 rooms, "Comfort" and "Superior". The Comfort area is composed, on the ground floor, of 26 split-level Junior Suite. Each apartment has sleeping capacity for 4 people and is composed of: a lounge-dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, fridge freezer, sofa-bed for two people, safe, sat-TV and telephone on the lower floor. The double bed and bathroom with shower and hairdryer are situated on the mezzazine. Each apartment has two entrances: one on the hotel corridor and the other on your private terrace. On the second floor of the hotel you find comfortable rooms with wonderful view, all of them are provided with a private bathroom, shower and hairdryer, mini bar, telephone, sat-TV and safe. The Superior area is built only with ecological materials. There are sound-proofed bedrooms, one-room and two-room apartments equiped with private bathroom, shower or hydro-massage bath, hairdryer, mini bar, safe, sat- TV, telephone, internet connection, air conditioning. Each room has also a private terrace or balcony with table, chairs, beach-umbrella. Everywhere the furnishing, sober and elegant, recalls the warm atmosphere of the Tuscan homes. Our restaurant "La Taverna del Barbarossa", has been carried out in an old house of 1200 and customers have a wonderful view on the Val d'Orcia. The name is coming from the historic meeting between Federico II called "II Barbarossa" and the papal messengers which occurred here. It is situated 20 metres from the hotel: its stone- arched and wood- beamed dining rooms with fireplace and spacious dining terrace with panoramic view over the Natural Park of the Val d'Orcia, offer the perfect ambience to enjoy the best in Tuscany cuisine where you can taste the old typical meals with local wines. *Clients are asked to make a downpayment of 30% (see the coordinate of bank in cancellation policies)when booking.We are plesed to receive payment by postal-order, bank-draft. Minimum stay , for apartments, 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday.<br>
