This imposing apartment is in the very heart of the medieval town of San Gimignano with its shops, restaurants and cafés. It has been restored to a high standard with attention to maintaining its character as "L'Antica Posta" the medieval post office of the town, infact the current post office is to this day nextdoor in the same building.See also: Sassibianchi The apartment is most spacious and very comfortably furnished. Both its bedrooms enjoy a fine view over the rooftops of the old town and the convent of Sant'Agostino to the hills of the surrounding countryside. It has a traditional atmosphere with terracotta floors, beamed ceilings and archways. You may relax by the medieval well in the sitting area of the entrance hall or in front of the traditional woodburning fireplace in the spacious lounge, or in the gallery which with its two large windows open has the feeling of a balcony.
