Description:
Saint Jean de Luz is a historical city near the Spanish border and a rare gem in the Basque Country. It offers an entirely unique setting for you to spend your vacation or simply a day of relaxation. Hotel Parc Victoria is a calm and lush refuge in the downtown area, 300 meters or a 3-minute walk from the famous bay and its soft, sandy beaches. Built at the end of the Nineteenth Century, Hotel Parc Victoria has a distinctive, Victorian style. It is the only manor house of its kind in Saint Jean de Luz, giving it the status of "chateau" amongst locals. Almost a century later and following years of near neglect, property developers set out to convert the 100-acre location into condominiums. The current owners, Mr. Larralde and Mr. Pérodeau, were close neighbors and long-time admirers of the location. In 1988, they succeeded in a last-minute attempt to purchase it. They launched an ambitious restoration and decorating plan to bring the charming manor house back to life. After 3 years of work, their project came to completion: Hotel Parc Victoria welcomed its first clients in the summer of 1991. This delightful hotel offers 18 rooms and suites, mostly decorated in Art Deco, Mr. Pérodeau's favorite style. With exquisite taste, he was able to give a second life to each of the period pieces: furniture, lamps, light fixtures and ornaments from all over France. From the marble bathrooms, some equipped with modern Jacuzzis, to the paintings and other sculptures that decorate the rooms, it has all been designed to make guests feel as if they were on vacation at a friends' home rather than a hotel. · Connecting Rooms and Suites · Satellite Television · Fax upon request · Mini-Bar · Hairdryers · Marble bathrooms · Jacuzzi bathtubs in Suites · Hotel open from March 15 to November 15 CANCELLATION POLICY Amount of deposit asked before the customers date of arrival : -For a stay from 1 to 3 nights : one night of stay. -For a stay from 4 to 6 nights : two nights of stay. -For a stay form 7 to 9 nights : three nights of stay.
