The Starhotel Du Parc, located in the heart of Parma and connected to the beautiful Parco Ducale, began after a complete renovation of the historic construction then known as 'Parma's Giant Refrigerator', an ice factory which was built in 1919 and remained in operation until 1980. The huge facade, decorated with Neoclassic touches, is characterised by large glass panels. The spacious and brightly-lit interiors, decorated in an Art Nouveau style, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, suitable for both business and leisure travellers. The hotel offers 169 finely-furnished rooms, two intimate and elegant restaurants, a refined and relaxing bar featuring a black marble countertop surrounded by comfortable armchairs and mirrors, a fitness centre and an impressive convention center featuring 12 meeting rooms with a total maximum capacity of 1000 people.<br>
