As the area is not well served by public transport, a private car is necessary and easily rentable. The town of Palermo will require a few days to visit its fascinating historical centre (one of the biggest in Europe) the many churches, the palazzos and the picturesque markets. Your hostess will advise the gardens passionate with most useful tips on some historical secret gardens which can be visited around Palermo. Segesta with its theatre and temple is only 40 Kms away. The Zingaro, few kms far from the structure of IL GLICINE S.Vito, is one of the most beautiful natural coastal reserve and deserves a visit.
