Montalcino is one the most important medieval centre of Italy. Today the town is appears like an untouched jewel of Tuscan Middle Age, with its fortress wich overlooks the whole town. Inside the ancient walls near the main gate is placed the Hotel Residence Montalcino, with its rooms, its valuable apartments and its suites, which have been fornitured in a very good taste.They are located in an ancient building of the XVIII century, which has been recently and completely restaured; the palace has now its previous colour ancient pink and is full of art treasures. As well as for the rooms and the suites we offer the formula bed&breakfast for the apartments too. The Residence has a a big garden, an internal parking-place and private garages. The guests of the Hotel Residence Montalcino, applying to the Reception, can have a large choice of artistic, cultural and culinary routes which are organized by our Travel Agency. The apartments and the suites are of different sizes, for 2 till 7 persons and have one or two double rooms, large living-rooms and kitchenettes, one or two bathrooms with all comforts. The windows of the rooms look toward the countryside offering a magnificent view embracing kilometers of green Tuscan hills in the garden surrounded with high stone walls the guest of the Residence Montalcino have availability of chairs, tables and beach umbrellas, swings and deck-chairs, grill, and a swimming-pool for children (3 x 2 m). The apartments, the rooms and the suites have their own heating and during the summer there are cealing fans. Each apartment has TV-set, satellitar decoder, videorecorder, radio tape stereo, telephone, hair-drier and frigo-bar. One apartment is equipped for handicapped persons. Its possible to use fax and rent video tapes asking the Reception. We accept only small-sized pets<br>
