The Palais Excelsior was built at the beginning of this century and was used as a summer residence of the Princes of Monaco who brought to Limone all the glory and lifestyle of the Royal Family of Monaco. It was subsequently transformed into a Hotel, and in the years that followed it housed the best clientele who appreciated its delightful position in the heart of the resort, its architectural elegance, its magnificent setting and its typical refined and enchanting atmosphere. The Grand Palais Excelsior today Skilled restoration has now returned the Palais to its ancient splendour, adapting it into a Residence-Hotel in line with the modern trends of holiday accomodation. It features 28 apartments of various type and size, in order to meet the differing requirements of the guest: from the hotel style suite, to the apartment for the large family.
