Situated in the historic center of Gubbio, the Relais Ducale is the annex of the Ducal Palace, where the Duke of Montefeltro used to welcome his owns guests. In 1997 the building was completely restored and become the beautiful hotel which it is today. Its position, architectural structure and beautiful gardens make of the Relais Ducale a charming unique 'home'. The 30 rooms and suites and the public rooms are decorated with fine antiques and paintings. Mrs Mencarelli, who also owns an antique shop in Gubbio, likes to regularly renew the furnishing with antiques that, sometimes, can be purchased by the guests. Breakfast is served at the Bar Ducale or, during the summer months, outside on Piazza della Signora, from where you can enjoy wonderful view. The restaurants La Taverna del Lupo end Bosone Garden, owned by the same family are located a walking distance from the Hotel. The Relais Ducale is also the ideal place for small meetings. There are three meeting rooms up to 50 people. For bigger events, the nearby Congress Palace S.Spirito is available for rent.<br>
