After a complete restructuration it reopened July 7th 2001. Its 8 rooms are tastefully decorated and offer a splendid view on the lake, the Bellagio peninsula and the Grigna mountains. The owner, Paola, runs the inn personally and she will await you smiling. At breakfast she treats you with home made bread, jam and cakes. She is glad to arrange your holiday: markets, shopping, trekking, boat trips, including maps and timetables. And at the time to leave... she can suggest you the best way to get to your next destination. On the ground floor you can find the restaurant "la Cucina della Marianna" where Paola's husband Ty with his partner Antonio offer creations of seasonal and locally produced ingredients, with appropriate wines. With this enormous amount of experience Paola has opened the Bed & Breakfast "La Marianna" in 2001. She fully furnished it herself and personally chose the materials to be used for renovating the building. Everything has been carefully selected, the colors, the furniture, as if it was to be for her own house and as if the clients are not just clients but her personal friends. In this way Paola hopes to create a "home-away-from-home" atmosphere (like one could find at the youth-hostel). <br>
