Description:
During the second half of the nineteenth century Villa Rovezzano used to belong to the Baroness Fiorella Favard de L'Anglade and since 1946 houses the precious artisanal weaving factory created by Countes Maria Antonietta di Frassineto who wished continue the antique Florentine Renaissance art of hand weaving draping fabrics. Our six rooms - each of which has a name- have been furnished with a personal and cosy touch. The Impruneta, Villamagna, Ponte Vecchio, Il Poggetto rooms each have a private bathroom while Villa Palmieri and Bargello share a bathroom. Alarge lounge with a billiard table, piano, and a fireplace, and a reading area are available for our guests. There is a large terrace on the same floor as the rooms, where one may rest, eat, sun bathe. All rooms are furnisced with Color TV. You can easily reche the centre of Florence tacking the public bus number 14 that is only two hundred meters from the main gate. The garden is available for our guests.
