Residenza Il Maggio is a new bed & breakfast situated in a historical palace, built during the second half of the 19 century. It was born from the initiative of two young women that wanted to create an antique dwelling, both relaxing and comfortable. It’s city-central location, opposite the “Teatro Comunale del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino” and 5 minutes walk from the heart of Florence allows its guests to enjoy a quiet and peaceful stay in the fresh and elegant atmosphere offered in its 5 cosy double bedrooms, and breakfast room. Each bedroom has its own bathroom en-suite, and includes air conditioning, Satellite Television, telephone and internet connection. Every possible attention to detail has been made to ensure a pleasant and delightful stay for all our guests. Residenza Il Maggio is located close to the city centre in a residential area by the bank of the River arno, in walking distance of the Central Train Station (Santa Maria Novella). The convenient location of Residenza Il Maggio allows one to enjoy the peaceful views of the River Arno, and the elegance of the monumental Florence City Center. The owners, two young sisters, love to converse with and befriend our guests and are always happy to provide interesting suggestions about visiting the city or shopping for good wines, delicious food or even fashionable and trendy clothes. They personally look after every detail inside the Residenza, starting from fresh flowers to selections of books that can be loaned from the home library. They will do everything possible to ensure an agreeable and comfortable stay for their guests. The Residenza Bed and Breakfast has five fully furnished bedrooms, each with its own electronic key, satellite television, telephone/internet, clock radio, air conditioning, regulating lights and en-suite bathroom. Each room is named and characterized by its own specific colour. The elegant, polished fittings and light, relaxing colours help to ensure our guests enjoy a relaxing and peaceful night’s rest. In case of a confirmed reservation it is necessary that you communicate your expected time of arrival at least 2 days before the check in. If we were not to know the latter we cannot guarantee our presence in the structure for an immediate check in and you will need to contact us by phone. There is a comfortable bright guest room where a delicious breackfast with homemade jams and cakes is served. Our guests will be able to start the day afresh in a pleasant and delightful atmosphere. Natural material such as wood and soft coloured fabrics have been chosen to furnish the rooms and ensure a pleasant stay. <br>
