The charming inn "La Locanda della Ribollita", with elegantly-furnished room equipped with every comfort, is a typical Tuscan farmhouse close to the Chiusi-Chianciano Terme exit of The A1 motorway. The eighteen century building has been restored to the highest standards, has beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, traditional Tuscan furniture and original touches throughout. The restaurant is famous for the Ribollita (a hearty peasant soup) from which it takes its name, not to mention other delicacies such as the home-made pici all’aglione (short, plump spaghetti), Maltagliati alle Briciole (a traditional pasta dish), Tagliata di Manzo all’aceto Balsamico (sliced beef in Balsamic vinegar) and the enormous buffet with Antipasti and Dolce.Nearby are renowned thermal spas, for those wishing to take the waters.
