The Excelsior Grand Hotel is a modern and efficient hotel located in the centre of the lively city of Catania, a stone’s throw from the natural scenery of Etna. The Hotel, which has always been at the forefront of the main events which have taken place in Catania, is reopening after a two year’s closure for refurbishment, with new furniture. ROOMS The hotel has 176 elegantly furnished rooms of which: 158 double rooms, 5 junior suites and 13 suites. All the rooms have the necessary comforts and technological plus as PC socket. RESTAURANT AND BAR The "Le Zagare" restaurant overlooking an internal garden, offers high level cuisine which is creative while still paying attention to the regional gastronomic tradition. The "L'Incontro" American Bar is a comfortable atmosphere for a friendly drink or a working snack; in the evening you can relax and enjoy yourself listening to the melodious notes of the piano. CONFERENCES The spacious conference rooms equipped with the latest facilities are composed of six rooms, from 10 to 130 seats, and a Conference Centre, with its Business Centre and secretarial area, workstation and fax facilities, which can hold up to 350 people. The Excelsior Grand Hotel is thus the ideal place for both the business person, for meetings and conferences, and for the tourist who requires the most sophisticated comfort. <br>
