Massimo and Susanna, whose family has been running the Hotel Albion for over four generations, open their country residence to friends and clients in a manner that combines their love for nature with their experience in the hospitality branch. Hence 'Le Boscarecce', a refined estate situated in the hills of the Val d'Elsa, a half-hours drive from Florence, S.Gimignano and Siena, in the cultural and artist heart of Tuscany, close to the medieval pilgrim's roads of the 'via francigena o romea' and the birthplaces of Boccaccio and Leonardo. The hotel consist in 14 rooms named for famous literary or historical female figures. All of them have telephones, color tv with satellite, haidryer and safe. In the beautiful shed restored with knowledge and respect for the original forms, our gracious guest may select a book from the small library of historical/artistic texts available, take a tour of the family's contemporary art collection. For our guests pleasure are a large swimming pool, tennis court. For those who instead would like to immerse themselves in the countryside and get a taste of the intense emotions of the land, there is a possibility of excursions in mountain bike or trekking itineraries. The hotel has a restaurant too and weather permitting, breakfast and dinner are served on the terrace that is designed for repose and enjoyment of the surrounding landscape. The sun setting over the Appenines is something to put in your memory book. Le Boscarecce will be your home in the hills. It can be your base while visiting hill towns or just relaxing in a picture postcard setting and dining like a king.<br>
