The use of coloured marbles and the numerous bas relieves in the interior is a nice addition to the sophisticated and comfortable surroundings. Located between the Royal Palace and the Grand Place, the Grand Sablon square is renowned for its antiques shops as well as the famous antiques market, taking place every Saturday and Sunday, attracting many connoisseurs and tourists alike. ACCOMMODATION : 201 rooms, all fitted with air conditioning, satellite colour TV, piped radio, phone, minibar. BAR / LOUNGE : Located in the Grand Salon is opened from 7am to midnight RESTAURANT :Closed for the moment. Should offer when re-opening only Italian cuisine (opening approx. 1 month). MEETING ROOMS : The Vendôme does not exist anymore since at least 3 years. At present we have no meeting rooms, new meeting rooms will be available by June 04. REFURBISHMENT : Built in 1990. All the corridor carpets have been replaced in 1998. Enlarged with new spaces (lobby, restaurant and congress centre) in 1999. Last refurbished is 2004.
