The Grand Hotel Il Saraceno is entirely built in the oriental style. It stands overlooking the most enchanting bay of the Amalfi Coast. On the higher level of the hotel are the guest rooms, the Restaurant for the hotels guests, a large Bar with Terrace, a Romanesque chapel and the congress room. At the centre of the building there is the sea water swimming pool. On the beach rises a castle, rebuilt around the ruins of a 11th century fortress. Here are the Beach Bar and a restaurant for banquets seating up to 200 persons. Finally, a large private beach can be accessed by elevators directly from the higher floors of the hotel.<br>
