Dear Sir and Madam, we woulld like to introduce ourself giving you a short description of the "FORESTERIA BAGLIO della LUNA ". Our House is situated in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento -Sicily. The main body of the structure, the Tower, originating from the XIII century, was restructured in 1555 by Emperor Charles V and was trasformed in the XVIII century into a countryside residence. The " Foresteria Baglio della Luna " has been restored respecting its traditional Sicilian architecture, with its high walls accessing into the garden. Walking along the paths in the garden, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the enchanting Valley of the Temples with the sea an flaming sunsets in the background. From the Baglio dehor-terrace restaurant and mediterranean gardens an unrepeatable scene with the curtain raised on an eternal stage set which issue from the vines and Mediterranean scrub; from the reds and yellows of the citrus groves in autumn to the glorious almond trees in blossom, when all over the rest of the world, the grey of winter is falling. The " Foresteria Baglio della Luna" stilI keeps the taste of the old times, with its cosy furniture an pictures reproducing memorable events of"Leopard's" 19th century Sicily. Here a traveller finds gratification for his soul. 'PARVA DOMUS MAGNA QUIES'. The panoramic restaurant with view archeological area Temples Valley, service is supervised by the house steward and the chef M° Damiano Ferraro who personally prepares varying menus of the most traditional Sicilian dishes as well as continental Italian Gastronimic Cooking and Mediterranean food.<br>
